What is Nattokinase?
Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from natto, a traditional Japanese dish made from fermented soybeans. Natto contains many nutrients, including calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and zinc. Nattokinase is naturally produced during the fermentation process of natto, which uses Bacillus subtilis.
NutraMedix’s Nattokinase utilizes NSK-SD40®, a pure, non-genetically modified, non-irradiated nattokinase free of vitamin K2, sourced from the Japan Bio Science Laboratory (JBSL). NSK-SD40® nattokinase is recognized by the Japan Health and Nutrition Food Authorization (JHFA) and the Japan Nattokinase Association (JNKA).
NutraMedix rigorously follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), as do our suppliers, including strict identification testing, microbial testing, and heavy metal testing. These tests are conducted both on the raw material and after encapsulation.
